The resource helps readers locate Florida criminal-record offices. It is not a private investigation service or a consumer reporting agency.
1. What This Website Is
This is a private reference site with no connection to a public office. It neither stores official criminal records nor obtains records, conducts official checks, or files documents for a user.
Its role is to identify records held by FDLE, the Florida Department of Corrections, the Florida Sexual Offender and Predator Registry, Florida courts, sheriffs, and clerks across 67 counties. Florida access is shaped by article I, section 24 of the state constitution and Chapter 119, while section 943.053 governs FDLE dissemination of public criminal history.
2. Rules for Using This Site
By using the site, you agree not to:
- Interfere with access or degrade performance for other users
- Deploy bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools
- Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
- Use site content in a credit, insurance, employment, or housing decision
- Threaten, stalk, or harass a person using information found here
- Violate federal, Florida, or local law
3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
No site or linked-tool information may be used to stalk, threaten, intimidate, harass, or unlawfully discriminate. Florida registry records demand particular care. Section 775.21(10)(d), Florida Statutes, penalizes specified acts involving false, altered, or payment-driven misuse of public offender and predator information. Registry access supports public safety awareness. It does not authorize vigilantism or prohibited discrimination.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
Florida Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not create consumer reports, credit reports, or official background checks. Its content and linked tools are not designed to assess:
- Eligibility for any other FCRA-regulated purpose
- Qualification for a government benefit, permit, or license
- Creditworthiness or insurance eligibility
- A housing or rental application
- An employment decision
A regulated purpose requires a lawful official FDLE channel or a provider that complies with the FCRA and all other applicable law.
5. No Legal Advice
The content is general information, not legal advice. Questions about how a Florida charge, warrant, conviction, sealing rule, or expunction law affects individual facts should be taken to a Florida-licensed lawyer.
6. No Warranties
All content and services are supplied "as is." No promise is made that:
- An outside search provider will return complete or correct results
- The pages will contain no defect, error, or security weakness
- Service will remain continuous and uninterrupted
- Information will always be complete, accurate, or current
Florida records change as charges are filed, resolved, sealed, corrected, or expunged. Delays and gaps can occur. Site content is never an official statement from FDLE, a court, a sheriff, or another public body.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
Links may open Florida agency sites, court systems, sheriff or clerk pages, legal-aid resources, and outside search services. Those destinations control their own availability, content, privacy rules, and charges. Review their terms because Florida Criminal History is not responsible for an external service.
8. Intellectual Property
Florida Criminal History or its content partners own the site's text, graphics, logos, and code. Written permission is required before copying, modifying, distributing, or creating a derivative work from that material.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Florida Criminal History is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the site, its content, or a linked service.
10. Indemnification
